| REMOTESCOPE FEATURES Simple Installation:
Once the console is installed on the administrator workstation, the client
portion of RemoteScope can be installed via an email attachment or a shared
resource on the network.
Easy Setup:
Aside from the user friendly interface, the RemoteScope installation CD
includes multimedia ScreenCam® movie tutorials showing step-by-step
procedures covering all features of RemoteScope from installation to
generating reports.
Centralized Administration:
Administrator/Client architecture allows all systems in a network to be
managed from any convenient system designated as the administrator
workstation. No more having to run from computer to computer!
Multiple O/S support:
works on the following versions of Windows - 95b/98, NT4, Windows ME, 2000,
and Windows XP.
Client Group Administration:
Easily manage clients in a network independent from the network's workgroup
settings. Organize clients based on a variety of categories (OS version,
applications installed, etc.) for fast and effective organization of
resources.
Client Browsing and File Transfer:
This feature is similar to the Microsoft Windows Explorer interface, with no
permission issues for the network administrator. This drag and drop
interface makes it easy to copy to and from any client on the network.
Remote Control:
Remotely control any client on the network at any time. The administrator
may either watch, take partial, or even complete control of the system. This
feature is ideal for making changes to windows settings on computers
remotely instead of walking to the computer itself.
Software Distribution:
Installing a service pack or virus update on a large number of computers can
be extremely time consuming. With RemoteScope, a network administrator can
silently deploy software updates to any client on the network. This feature
can also be scheduled for any time, day or night.
Hardware Inventory:
Polls information on selected clients in the network for generating reports
including information such as: Physical Drives, Mapped Drives, System
Resources, Processors, CDROM, Modem, USB devices, and more.
Software Inventory:

including information like: Product name, Installation date, Version, and
Serial Number.

listings and more. Quickly organize all hardware and software assets in a
searchable and manageable format. |
